Mr. Fagan's 5th class is located at the front of the school.

The subjects that 5th class engage in are:

• Primary Language Curriculum (English agus Gaeilge)
• Mathematics
• Social, Environmental and Scientific Education (SESE) (history, geography and science)
• The Arts (visual arts, drama and music)
• Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE)
• Physical Education (PE)
• Patron's Programme

In our school, both 5th and 6th class students have a lot of responsibility. 5th class students co-ordinate play groups with new junior infants, manage recycling, coach younger students in gaelic football, host assemblies, manage the school hens and run the school's egg business and engage in paired reading with younger students.
