St. Patrick’s NationalSchool is part of the Department of Education’s free book scheme. This meansthat all curriculum textbooks are provided free of charge for students.

In addition, because ofthe great work of our Parent’s Association Book Rental subcommittee, who havemanaged our book scheme for a long number of years, students also receive allcopybooks, stationary, workbooks and other accessories free of charge also.

All materials areavailable in classrooms at the beginning of each school year and are very wellminded by students in classes. In June each year, volunteer parents come intothe school to plan the distribution of books for the following school year. We areindebted to them for their work.

Students who come to St.Patrick’s National mid-year, also get their books within a few days of starting.
