Mr. Ó Braonáin's third class is one of two third classes in our school. The other 3rd class group is Mrs. Carey's 3rd class. The full class group was sub divided at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year to ensure a lower student teacher ratio for this school year.

The subjects that 3rd class engage in are:

• Primary Language Curriculum (English agus Gaeilge)
• Mathematics
• Social, Environmental and Scientific Education (SESE) (history, geography and science)
• The Arts (visual arts, drama and music)
• Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE)
• Physical Education (PE)
• Patron's Programme

While the class groups are separate, they are all still part of one class level. Both teachers plan collaboratively and the two class groups do come together for activities, including Christmas plays, GAA coaching, school tours and other events throughout the year. This is important so they keep up their friendships with students in the other class and also as the full class group may come back together in the future.
