Our school had a very exciting visit from Ms. Murphy's dog Luna today.

Junior infants have been learning about the theme of the vet and Ms. Murphy kindly brought her beautiful cockapoo in as part of a lesson on the work of the vet. She showed the class Luna's vaccination book, which is stamped by the vet every time she visits.

Ms. Murphy also told the students about how she cares for Luna by walking her, giving her worm tablets, her food and grooming her. Luna was so good with the children and allowed them all to pet her. There were then special requests from other classes for a visit before she went home.
