Many thanks to our Parents' Association, who co-ordinated our school's entry into the Slane St. Patrick's Day parade in mid March.
Slane parade celebrated its 30th anniversary, which made the day extra special. Groups began in the car park of St. Patrick's National School before making their way down to the square and out the Navan Road.
There were colourful floats, free popcorn and candy floss in the village garden for all the children, as well as goodie bags, four of which contained a golden ticket where the lucky winners collected their prize in Mimnagh’s Gala shop in Slane.
Well done to all the pupils and parents who participated, as well as all the other entries.
