Another Slane National School Parent's Association 5K took place on Sunday the 26th of May, 2024. The rain gods held off, the organisation was excellent and the 5K trail course was immaculate. What more could participants have asked for (apart from flattening the hill up to the woods in kilometre 3)?Congratulations to all the participants (including many incredible St. Patrick's N.S. pupils) who took part in the event, the sponsors, the helpers and additional support on the day, the Mountcharles family for the use of Slane Castle and to our wonderful Parent's Association for months and months of hard work to make the run such a success again this year.Photos of the event are available here https://www.facebook.com/slanecastle5ktrailrun/There is nothing for it now but to get training for next year!
