St. Patrick's National School participated in the Sing Out Loud musical show in the TLT theatre, Drogheda for the first time last weekend.

Sing Out Loud is a free programme which creates a safe and inclusive space for children to learn different genres of music and performance, gain confidence, experience teamwork, create lifelong memories and ultimately have the time of their lives!

The journey to the Sing Out Loud stage began in St. Patrick's N.S. with Mr. Fagan and Mrs. Carey, assisted by the rehearsal material provided by Sing Out Loud for both teachers and children culminating in an evening of music, performance and fun for the pupils, teachers and the audience alike.

The pupils from the school then travelled with their families to the theatre yesterday, where there was a full rehearsal, followed by the live performance itself. The song singing was interspersed with other musical acts, including drummers and some brilliant song singing from our own teacher, Mr. Kevin Fagan!

A huge thank you to Mr. Fagan, Mrs. Carey, the pupils and their families, as well as Sing Out Loud for a great event.
