You may be wondering how the hot school meals programme will work in our school so this is a quick guide!

1. Parents/ guardians download The Lunch Bag app.
2. Pupils will bring home a unique code from school.
3. Parents use the app to order meals for each child. Please order by 4pm tomorrow, Thursday, to ensure a meal for your child next Monday.
4. The food is delivered cooked and chilled early each morning to the school.
5. Meals are heated gradually in an oven (see below).
6. Meals for each class are packed in an insulated box and left in classrooms before lunch break (see below).
7. Pupils have their hot meal before lunch break. Uneaten food and the packaging are placed in a reusable plastic container which is brought home (see below).
8. The reusable plastic container is brought back to school each day and can be used to hold a small snack for first break.
