St. Patrick's National School was represented by four junior and four senior teams at the local Credit Union quiz competition in Rathkenny Hall recently.

The students had a great day out and huge thanks is due to the Slane Credit Union for organising the event. Many thanks also to staff who prepared the students and, in particular, to Ms. Gerrard, who co-ordinated the quizzes over the past few months.

St. Patrick's National School had the following placings in the quiz:

Senior 3rd place - Alfie O'Farrell McBride, Mannix Kerrigan, Catherina Hand and Ivy-May Ludlow Doran

Junior 2nd place - Joey Doyle, Noah Courtenay, Siún Kerrigan and Oisín Greene

Junior 3rd place - Dean Tully, James Finnegan Rueda, Niall Martin and Senan Isaacs.

Congratulations to Kentstown and Yellow Furze National Schools, who won both sections and now go on to county level to represent Slane and District Credit Union. We wish them both well.
