First class had a great January trip to the Hill of Slane recently. It was a beautiful winter's day for the class to connect with their local outdoor environment. All the students had their outdoor clothing on and were well wrapped up. There were lots of learning opportunities, like climbing and hill rolling on this spectacular historical place in Slane.

The trip was in part a treat for the class as Ms. O'Neill's school placement came to an end. The class (and Ms. Collins) really enjoyed having her for the month and will miss her.
