Pupils in 4th class have taken part in a study of nitrogen dioxide levels at the front of our school, as part of a global study on air quality. Slane National School are taking part in a two year Erasmus project on the theme of outdoor learning and risky play in association with Dublin City University. Pupils in a number of classes are being taught lessons outdoors, as well as being introduced to risk as they play.
