September assembly took place this month. It was hosted by a pupil from every class.
This month we had a special visitor, Audrey Norris, who talked to the children about road safety. This is an area that is very important for our pupils, who have to come to and go from school along the N2 road. We thanked Audrey for her visit with a small gift.
After Audrey spoke, the news from every class was read out. There are lots of exciting things going on in our school this month, including outdoor play, paper plane making, gaelic football skills, letters being written to Meath County Council, among other things.
September birthdays were read out, as were gaeilgeoirí na míosa and star class. It was controversially shared between Ms. O’Connor’s third class, Ms. McCabe’s senior infants, Ms. Collins’ 1st class and Mr. Dineen’s 1st/2nd class.
